For this module, I had to reproduce a historical garment that had previously been studied by Janet Arnold. The garment I selected was an 1890s Walking Jacket. To understand how it was made, I had to study the original garment in close detail so that I could then recreate it to be a close to the original as possible. Once finished, the garment was entered into the 2017 Patterns of Fashion Competition.
